Orioles tickets

As part of the Baltimore Orioles’ partnership with Fort Meade, the Orioles organization provides Fort Meade with game tickets for Sunday home games.
This season, 400 complimentary tickets — 300 tickets for active-duty service members and 100 for DoD civilian employees and retirees — are available at Leisure Travel Services, located at 6530 York Road.
Before each Sunday home game, tickets for service members are distributed every Thursday at 9 a.m. Tickets for DoD employees and retirees are distributed at noon.

Bowie Baysox

Fort Meade Night at the Bowie Baysox is June 15 at 7 p.m. at Prince George’s Stadium, 4101 Crain Highway, Bowie.
Free tickets are only available at Leisure Travel Services for Fort Meade active-duty service members, retirees and DoD civilian employees.
The stadium includes free parking, Kids Park, and fireworks after the game.

Army Birthday 5K

The annual Fort Meade Run Series continues with the Army Birthday 5K and 1-Mile Walk on June 9 at 8 a.m. at the Pavilion.
The fee is $18 for individuals; $54 for a family of three to six people; and $96 for groups of seven to 10 people.
All preregistered runners will receive a T-shirt.

Women and Wine Bowling

The Women & Wine Bowling Club begins June 23 at 6:30 p.m. at The Lanes.

Lunch-n-Bowl

One hour of bowling and shoe rental costs $5 at The Lanes during Lunch-n-Bowl on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

EFMP bowling

The Exceptional Family Member Program offers Bowling for Exceptional Families on the third Wednesday of every month.
The next session is June 20 from 5:30-7 p.m. at The Lanes.
Exceptional family members bowl one free game with free shoe rental.

Summer FUNfit

Youth Sports offers Summer FUNfit for ages 3-5 every Wednesday and Thursday from 9-10 a.m. at the Youth Sports Complex.
The program allows youngsters to experience physical activities in a fun environment.

STAYFIT for youths

STAYFIT, a free summer fitness series for ages 5 to 18, begins in June.
The monthly program is held Monday to Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Youth Sports Complex.
One part of the program focuses on speed and agility. The other focuses on endurance.
Participants may attend as often as they wish. However, space is limited.

Registration for Youth Spring Sports is underway for the following activities:

Pre-Natal Yoga Class

Pre-Natal Yoga is held Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m. at Gaffney Fitness Center.
This class helps expectant mothers safely explore poses to build strength, work with flexibility and support their ever-changing body.
Breath practice is integrated to find ease and calm the mind in preparation for birth.
The class also addresses common pregnancy discomforts as well as benefits for baby and mom.

Tae kwon do youth classes

SKIES Unlimited offers tae kwon do classes for ages 4-17 Tuesdays and Thursdays: Classes meet at 5:30, 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m.
