FMWR’s Martha McClary retires

Martha L. McClary gives a farewell speech at her retirement ceremony on Dec. 13 at Club Meade.

After a 32-year career at Fort Meade, McClary officially retires Jan. 31 as director of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, a position she has held since 2009. McClary previously served as chief of Child and Youth Services.

Garrison directors and FMWR branch chiefs spoke at the ceremony, which was followed by a reception.

Awards and acknowledgments were presented by both Garrison Commander Col. Tom Rickard and Deputy Garrison Commander John Moeller.
